Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Overview

Sequency Digital respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit our website or engage with our services.

Information We Collect

Information you provide: When you contact us through our website, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, email address, company name, and the content of your message.

Automatically collected information: Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. We use this information to improve our website and understand how visitors interact with our content.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and communications
  • Provide and improve our services
  • Understand how our website is used
  • Send relevant information about our services (only with your consent)
  • Comply with legal obligations

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share information with service providers who assist us in operating our website and delivering our services, and we require these providers to maintain confidentiality. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Cookies and Analytics

We use three analytics tools, and they are not treated the same way.

Vercel Web Analytics runs on every visit. It is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device and does not follow you between sites. It counts pageviews and visitors so we know which pages get read.

Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity load only if you accept cookies. Until you do, neither script is placed on the page at all, so neither sets a cookie. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<id>; Clarity sets _clck and _clsk.

Clarity records your session. When you accept, it captures how you move through a page — mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and the pages you visit — and replays it back to us so we can see where the site is confusing. Clarity also aggregates these sessions into heatmaps.

Clarity is configured with Strict masking, which replaces text content with placeholder characters in your browser before a recording is sent to Microsoft — including anything you type into the contact form. That is a setting we control and keep on deliberately; if it ever changes, this page changes with it.

Your choice is stored in one strictly necessary cookie, sequency_consent, which records what you chose, when, and which tools you were asked about. It is set whichever way you answer — remembering a refusal is the only way to avoid asking again on every page — is never used to track you, and expires after six months. You can change your choice at any time using at the bottom of any page. If you accept and later decline, we expire the cookies those two tools have already set and reload the page so they stop running.

Site Monitoring

We use Ahrefs to monitor this site’s technical health and search performance. This works by crawling publicly available pages, the same way a search engine does — it does not run in your browser and collects nothing about you as a visitor, so it is not one of the three analytics tools described above.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
